Wallace Edward Martin, 71, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Mr. Martin was a retired Tug Boat Pilot. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 1, 1953 the son of the late Ed Martin and Octavia Buchanan.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Thackston Martin; his children, Haven Martin of Ashland, KY and Sharity Martin of Maysville, KY; two grandchildren, Gavin Foster and Brey Foster; one great grandchild, Lorelei Brandon; one brother, Mike Martin of Maysville, KY and his father and mother in-law, James and Joyce Thackston.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Martin and his sister, Judy.

At the request of Wallace, a private family directed memorial service will be held at a later date.
